Felt making workshops in schools and groups

We have been teaching felt making, for the past three years, in several schools and colleges across Southern England with children from the age of 6-18 years. We teach both on a regular basis, and also provide one off sessions to meet the needs of the school or group. We are CRB checked and have a wide experience in teaching all ages and abilities. Our sessions are always informative, educational, practical and most of all fun .

Girls at our weekly enrichment classes at St Edmund's Secondary School in Salisbury produce a wonderful variety of work. We have been working with St Edmund's for over three years allowing over 30 girls a term to enjoy the ancient craft of felt making. Most recently (June 2008) we were asked to work with the GCSE textile group.

Summer 2007
The children of Years 5 and 6 all made felted and seamless slippers during a two day workshop.
50 slippers later and all the children showed off their wonderful creations doing the 'can can' during celebration assembly !
